Baines Occupational Health Services (BOHS) has zero tolerance towards sexual harassment. Under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Grant for the Kunda-Nqob’iTB Project, BOHS is dedicated to the screening of Occupational Lung diseases and TB in artisanal and small-scale miners (ASMs) in the Midlands, Matebeleland South and Masvingo provinces. The successful candidate will be required to commit to USAID and BOHS policies. BOHS does not charge any fees during its entire recruitment process. A locum vacancy has arisen in our organization for an occupational medicine practitioner (OMP) to be stationed in Gweru for two weeks. We are in search of a dynamic, motivated and focused OMP with good managerial and occupational health skills and experience. The locum OMP should have good communication and training skills. The job entails performing medical examinations of workers, conducting training in occupational medicine for health workers, leading occupational health outreaches to artisanal and small scale mining sites and providing technical expertise and support to our occupational health clinics.
Qualifications and Experience

1. Holder of a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees with a current practicing certificate.
2. A post graduate Diploma in Occupational Health/Medicine or equivalent qualifications.
3. A management qualification/experience will be an added advantage.
4. Work experience in Occupational Health settings

Minimum Requirements
1. Holder of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health, safety and environment.
2. Possession of professional certification in OHSE will be an added advantage.
3. A minimum of five (5) years working experience in the field of OHSE.
4. Experience in working with artisanal and small scale miners will be an added advantage.
