Qualifications and Experience

1. Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field..
2. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.
3. Possession of additional qualifications and experience in occupational health and safety will be a distinct advantage.
4. Experience in using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project etc).
5. A team player with ability to work as part of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
6. Experience of working in grant funded projects will be a added advantage.

A vacancy has arisen in our organization for a Radiographer. We are in search of a dynamic, motivated and focused Radiographer. The Radiographer should have good communication and interpersonal skills. The job entails conducting diagnostic x-rays of Artisanal and Small Scale Miners during mobile screening outreaches, camps and providing technical expertise and support to our occupational health clinics. Baines Occupational Health Services (BOHS) has zero tolerance towards sexual harassment. Under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Grant for the Kunda-Nqob’iTB Project, BOHS is dedicated to the screening of Occupational Lung diseases and TB in artisanal and small-scale miners (ASMs) in the Midlands, Matebeleland South and Masvingo provinces. The successful candidate will be required to commit to USAID and BOHS policies. BOHS does not charge any fees during its entire recruitment process.

The key duties of this position entail conducting risk assessments for all project related activities and in ASM sites, and capacity building for ASMs in safe mining practices to prevent TB and occupational lung diseases.
Minimum Requirements
1. Holder of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health, safety and environment.
2. Possession of professional certification in OHSE will be an added advantage.
3. A minimum of five (5) years working experience in the field of OHSE.
4. Experience in working with artisanal and small scale miners will be an added advantage.
5. A clean class four driver’s licence
6. Experience using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
7. Good training and communication skills.
8. Possession of research skills will be an added advantage .
